John Sax - CEO / Executive Director
John was the founder of the Southpark Group of Companies some 25 years ago, and has acted as CEO or Executive Director of all companies since. He has gained considerable experience with developments throughout Auckland, such as Southdown, Hellaby, Shortland and Pikes Point.

His business group is the largest vacant and redevelopment land holder within Penrose, Mt Wellington and the Onehunga areas, and has significant landholdings in Newmarket and Manukau.

John is no stranger to visionary projects, with his Treetops Lodge and Estate in Rotorua being voted as the top hotel in New Zealand by the prestigious Conde Nast readers� survey for the last two consecutive years. Travel and Leisure readers voted Treetops as one of the 100 top destinations to visit worldwide ranking an individual 25th � the only place in NZ to make the list.

John is the founder and Chairman of the For the Sake of Our Children Trust . He is a promoter and a champion of caring communities. John is also a Founder, Chairman of Director of numerous community and social action initiatives.
